Gathering looks simple — send marches to tiles, come back with resources. But the difference between a good farmer and a great one is entirely in tile selection and uptime. This guide covers both: finding the best tiles with iScope Recon, and automating the marches with iScope Auto.
Tile levels matter more than you think
A level 6 food tile carries roughly double the load of a level 3 tile for the same march. Over dozens of gathers a day, farming level 5–6 tiles is a multiple of your daily yield. Yet most players gather from whatever tile is closest — usually low level, because low tiles are what you find while scrolling.
Step 1: find the rich tiles
- Open the Resources tab in Recon.
- Filter by resource type — food, wood, stone, ore, gold.
- Set the minimum level (5–6 for serious farming).
- Add your keep coordinates and radius. Sort by distance.
- You now have a prioritized tile list that would have taken an hour of map-dragging.
The list refreshes continuously, so as tiles deplete and respawn you always see current occupancy state from the latest scan.
Step 2: automate the loop
Manual gathering means you send gathers when you remember, and troops sit idle while you sleep. iScope Auto closes that gap:
- Link your account (6-digit code, no password).
- Enable auto-gathering and set which resource types to prioritize.
- The bot sends gather marches whenever troops are home, around the clock, prioritizing the tile levels you allow.
- Combine with auto rally join and shield automation — a farm account that gathers, rallies, and shields itself is a genuine 24/7 operation.
Recon subscribers get a free Auto account slot, so the scanner and the bot work as one system: find rich tiles, farm them continuously.
Balance: gather vs monsters vs rallies
Your marches are a budget. A sane daily split for a farming-focused account: 60% gathering, 30% boss hunting (see the boss guide), 10% kept free for alliance calls. During RSS-cost events (construction, training), flip gathering to 90%.
FAQ
Which resource should I prioritize? Whatever your next big upgrade consumes — usually food and wood early, ore and gold later.
Do tiles regen? Depleted tiles respawn after a cooldown at (usually) the same level — another reason the live tile list beats a saved map.
Can the bot gather on multiple accounts? Yes — Auto tiers cover 1 to 50 accounts; farmers run whole fleets.
Stop gathering from trash tiles: try Recon free, then automate the marches.
