Knowing the map is half of Evony; knowing the players is the other half. The Players tab in iScope Recon turns the whole server roster into a searchable database. This guide covers the filters and the searches that pay off weekly.
What you can search
- Power — min/max ranges, from farm accounts to whales
- Alliance — every member of any alliance, instantly
- Kill stats — who actually fights vs who farms
- Keep level — development stage at a glance
- Bubble status — who's shielded right now and who's exposed
- Name search — find any player by keep or owner name
- Distance — everything above, within any radius of any point
The five searches worth running weekly
1. Exposed targets near you. Players tab → bubble off → your keep coordinates + 20 km → sort by power ascending. That's your farming list.
2. Alliance audit. Search an enemy alliance name → sort by power. Their top 10, their dead weight, and who's bubbled — the whole alliance in one screen.
3. Rise watch. Filter keep level 30+ with power under a threshold — players mid-rebuild or newly dropped shields. Opportunities and recruitment leads at once.
4. Kill-event prep. During kill events, filter enemy-server players by kill stats — the SvS guide covers the enemy side.
5. Recruit scouting. High power + high kills + weak alliance = your next recruit.
Reading bubble status right
Bubble (shield) status changes constantly — it's a live signal, not a profile field. A bubbled keep is safe today; the same keep with the bubble about to expire is the target of the week. That's why the player data refreshes continuously instead of being a one-time census.
Combining with the map layers
Player search is most powerful next to the entity tabs: find a target's keep, then check monsters and bosses around it (march logistics), then check their alliance's sub-cities (see the sub-city guide) for retaliation risk. Recon keeps all layers on one platform so the workflow stays in one place.
FAQ
Is player data public? It's the same map information any player can see by scrolling — Recon just makes it searchable.
Free tier? Players tab is paid — it's the deepest dataset on the platform. See pricing.
Can I hide players from my own view? Yes — hide entities by category to keep your workspace focused.
